Dr. Pranathi Reddy is the Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at BirthRight by Rainbow Hospitals and a subspecialist Urogyneacologist and has 35 years of clinical experience.

She has trained in the UK and USA and after returning to India has not only established a successful clinical journey but has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey where she was pivotal in guiding the BirthRight by Rainbow hospitals from an excellent clinical facility to a successful publicly traded enterprise.

She is passionate about the birthing process and the impact it has on a woman’s life journey; both professional and personal. In addition to her busy clinical work, she plays a significant mentorship role in the Rainbow Group and is working towards setting up a structured mentorship culture within the organization.

Because of her passion for ensuring high rates of normal deliveries she was invited by UNICEF to participate in National Consultation on Rising Rates of Cesarean Section in India.

She is a believer of Preventive Health care in women and holistic wellness. She is firmly convinced that doctors particularly Gynecologists should not be points of contact for disease but rather for prevention.

She has a philanthropic side to her personality and is an active Rotarian. She served as President of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills 2016-17 and is a trustee of Sparsh Hospice a free home for terminally ill cancer patients. She spends time raising money for this organization and supporting it in improving awareness about palliative care.
